The Golden Cameo has been part of jewellery making since the Antiquities. It was used to form portraits of the ancient Goddesses to the aristocrats to the revolutionaries.

We located these 1950's vintage glass intaglio cameos that were originally manufactured in West Germany for these stunning and rare rings. The design is a beautiful woman in profile on a crystal clear glass base. This is a right facing stone, meaning that the woman looks to the right. She has been reverse painted in a metallic gold, which contrasts beautifully against the crystal clear background. The edges of the stone are faceted for a subtle touch of elegance.

Mounted on a filigree vintage copper frame and combined with an fabulous vintage adjustable Spoon Ring gives this exceptional piece a layer of beautiful grandeur of a past era.
